I’ve been subscribing to MADThread for over a year now, and I think it’s about time I write a proper review about them!

MADThread is a clothing subscription service that aims to provide people with an unlimited closet of clothing at an affordable rate. It caters more to 30 to 40-year-olds who are looking for fashionable items to wear to work, weddings, or even casual events.

Why do I subscribe to MADThread

Value-For-Money Price Points

I want to wear nice, quality clothing without burning a hole in my pocket and MADThread is the solution. It allows me to have access to unlimited styles and choices. Granted, it isn’t the only clothes subscription service available in Singapore, but it has price points that are value-for-money for women with different lifestyles and wardrobe needs.

MADThread provides a better value-for-money Starter Pack starting from as little as $49 for 6 outfits per month. You can rent a tote twice a month with each tote containing 3 pieces of clothing. As a work from home mom, 3 great looking outfits per week are sufficient – for the occasional meetings, date nights and weekend outings with the family.

I love that even with Starter Pack, you can rent one Premium Boutique item per order. A premium item is any item from their collection with a retail value of over $500 or is a limited-edition cult piece.

For the fashion connoisseurs who want access to more designer brands and unlimited swaps, you can subscribe to the VIP package that’s priced at $199 per month ($179 per month if you are a first time subscriber). I mean, how many designer dresses can you purchase at only $199? It’s really worth it. Also, with this plan, you get not three, but four items in one tote and all your items can be premium items!

MADSwap = Next Day Delivery in Singapore

All orders from the Starter Pack, Unlimited Plan, or MADThread VIP Unlimited are inclusive of next day deliveries and their signature one-for-one MADSwaps that save time.

This is a big one because this means you can return your old tote/clothes on hand and receive a new tote at the same time. This makes MADThread the fastest fashion subscription service in town. No need for double deliveries (better for the environment!) or processing time in between. The last thing I need is having to plan when I should order and worry whether a dress would actually reach me in time for a special occasion.

What makes this even better? There is no need to head down to POPstations or post offices to collect your own parcels. They deliver straight to your door, even when you aren’t home! Which honestly, is awesome. You know that feeling when you’re stuck at home having to wait for deliveries, right? No need for that with MADThread.

It’s my go-to workwear whenever I have an important meeting or speaking engagements because their clothing is well-tailored and flattering to any body type.

Besides that, you can also have access to fashion houses from Europe via MADThread. Coveted luxury brands are up for rent and purchase (more on that later.) Since I started subscribing to MADThread, I’ve discovered and tried on many different brands I would otherwise, have no ideas about. My current go-to brands on MADThread are Talulah, Yumi Kim, Sheike and Elliatt.

In fact, I discovered my love for Yumi Kim’s feminine, floral dresses via MadThread. It’s very flattering for many occasions; and MadThread, which has new outfits added to their selection every week, has more seasonal styles from Yumi Kim too!

As a subscriber, you have the special privilege of purchasing items from your totes on hand, as well as items that you have rented previously. All your totes history is accessible via the mobile app itself. So you can easily recall which styles and sizes fit you best. The ultimate try before you buy. I just love how convenient it is.
