Eat, Play and Win at Harbourfront Centre
HarbourFront Centre’s slogan is ‘Little pleasures, great surprises’. I like this a lot, it makes me think of what children bring to your life. There are a lot of other slogans I could add to what it’s like to having children in your life, like ‘Little personal space, a great need for coffee’ or ‘Little clean clothes, great lack of sleep’, but HarbourFront’s slogan is a lot nicer. HarbourFront Centre is also a fantastic place for families, so their slogan definitely fits.
Apart from shopping at HarbourFront Centre, there are many great places to dine in. And HarbourFront Centre will be even better this coming school holiday. It will be THE place to bond with your family and loved ones with an array of exciting activities, promotion and you get to win great prizes while you’re there too!
Art-filled fun activities
From 11-17 March, expect lots of fun art activities at HarbourFront Centre, great for children and the young-at-hearts. Some of the things you can do include:
Art Heist
Everyday, 12PM to 8PM
Level 1 Central Atrium
In this clever play on words, you are asked to look for famous works of art, in balloon form. It’s like a treasure hunt all over the mall. Each day, the first 30 eagle-eyed shoppers who can locate all the artworks get to win a $5 The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf voucher each. At the end of the Art Heist, the top five fastest timings stand to win a True Fitness Annual Pass worth $2,520!
Spot the Difference
Everyday, 12PM to 8PM
Level 1 Central Atrium
Compare two versions of an artwork and spot all the differences between them. Shoppers who spot all the differences correctly can go in the draw to win a pair of True Fitness Annual Passes worth $5,040.
Paintings Come Alive!
11-12 March, 15-17 March, 1PM
Level 1 Central Atrium
In this performance piece by Mr Bottles, drawings come to life with a special touch of magic. He often engages the crowd by getting some of his audience on stage to assist with his tricks. I think my girls would particularly love this one; imagine if their drawings of fairies and unicorns could come life.
Shadowgraphy and Speed Glitter Art
11 March: 4.30PM
12, 15, 16, 17 March: 6.15PM
Level 1 Central Atrium
A must watch! Debuting in Singapore, artist Jay Huang shows us how to paint a famous masterpiece with glue and glitters at super speed. The show is fascinating and awe-inspiring.I’m just hoping that Lauren and Georgia don’t get ideas to start painting things around the house with speed glitter. To top it all off, he weaves shadowgraphy into his performance where he mimics the silhouette of animals and tells a love story between a boy and a girl.
Art Jamming
13-16 March, 8-9 April, 15-16 April: 1PM to 5PM
Level 3 Event Area
Let the kids unleash their inner artist! Children get to spend time painting and building masterpieces they can take home. Children will get to try out scratch art, build to their heart’s content using eco-friendly potato starch by Fischer, build their own cars and paint them and more! From 8 April onwards, they get to work on Easter-related art pieces too!
Great Food
From 18 February through to 16 April, HarbourFront Centre is also running a promotion called Bond Appetit, encouraging friends and family to get together for great food and fun activities. There are countless places to eat and drink at HarbourFront Centre, including many different cuisines. It has everything to suit every budget, so if you’re bonding with friends over coffee and a playdate, or celebrating a special occasion with family, you are guaranteed to find a restaurant to meet your needs. A great many of the venues also cater well to children, with children’s menu choices and colouring activities to keep them entertained while you dine.
Gusto Market
Saturdays & Sundays (4-5 March and 18-19 March)
Level 1 Central Atrium
HarbourFront Centre is hosting an undiscovered gem of a market specialising in artisanal foods and unique handcrafts. You can find artisanal macarons, handcrafted gems, essential oils and tasty salted egg fish skin! With so much to see and shop, the hardest part is not buying everything after you’ve tasted the free samples. Because it is sheltered, it is an all-weather activity; just grab a latte, your stroller and explore to your heart’s content.

Spin To Win
There are some wonderful prizes to be won for customers who spend $30 between 5.30pm – 9.30pm from Mondays to Sundays. Harborfront center is really coming up with loads of cool activities. Some years ago, it was not that happening I guess. Would love to visit this place.
This year it seems balloons are the favourite theme and a perfect one for kids to enjoy and good to see the hands-on activities also.
Hmmm looks like weekends at Harbourfront are going to be pretty fun!
LOL! I also want to win the lucky draw! I love the balloon installation on Marilyn Monroe, so beautiful!
