I’ve got something special to share with you.
Not sure if you remember, but earlier this year I had a big a-ha on my life purpose (wrote about it here). You see, I had just started my 40 weeks entrepreneur training program called “Key Person of Influence (KPI)” based on an international bestseller by the same name.
I have been blogging for a while then. While my blog was receiving a fairly good amount of readership at the time, I was all over the place. I’d blog about cooking one day, and I’d write a weekly wrap up the next day just because… well, other bloggers do it and I thought maybe that’s what I should be covering too. I was also wondering how some bloggers are getting more exciting opportunities and sponsors.
Same thing with my business. Well.. at that point, it was pretty much non-existent. While I love helping mums-to-be, I wasn’t sure how to charge. So I did A LOT for free. And I sure as hell didn’t charge enough, even for those who were kind enough to pay me for my time.
Fast forward to now.
I’m only half way through the program. But I’m in a totally different place now. In 5 short months, I’ve officially launched my business, have more clients on waiting list than I can handle and I’m getting paid the amount I deserve.
The Chill Mom has been featured on The Asian Entrepreneur, The Asian Parents, Harper’s Bazaar Kids and I’m in partnership with mother and baby brands that I truly believe in. I’ll have a book with my name on it by mid next year.
KPI made a huge impact on my career and, if it wasn’t for the program, I wouldn’t have had the tools or confidence to get to where I am today.
