I’m so happy that Neutrogena has recently added two cleansing oils to their Deep Clean range.

You see, I’ve always liked Shu Uemura cleansing oil. But they are a little pricey. Especially because I’m quite liberal with cleansing oil. You just can’t skimp on it. I’ve tried using less before, and I found that it just didn’t work. Not only did my make-up not dissolve properly, it didn’t emulsify as well. As a result, there were make up residue left on my face and I had to do it all over again.

In order to properly clean and prevent tugging on the skin, I use at least a tablespoon amount each time. So this inexpensive version from Neutrogena is great for my pocket.

How it works

As you can see, the cleansing oil did very well in dissolving my make up and cleaning my face thoroughly without clogging my pores. I think this is due to the mineral-free formulation of Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil. It rinses clear without stripping skin of its natural oils. As a result, my skin feels soft without feeling tight.
