Say WHAT??
Not only you do this and this to your face and now you go for weekly facials too?
Yup, I’m guilty as charged. One gotta do what she has to do to reverse all these past years of neglect.
So… before a full review of the said weekly Skin Shaper Plus Program, here is a little background of the place I go for my beauty escapes:
Skin Shape Club is founded as a boutique wellness club to allow its members to learn more about beauty & wellness and conveniently receive clinically-proven skin and slimming treatments that keep you in shape. Their team works with doctors and dermal experts from overseas and local to design treatments and programs which can be done daily, weekly and monthly. Treatment duration falls between 30mins to 1hr, highly suitable for people who has limited time yet wish to be well-groomed… that’s ME!
Skin Shaper Plus Facial
Performed by professionally trained (and very pleasant) aestheticians, I was told this result-oriented treatment is excellent for people with acne, wrinkles or pigmentation problem. They would see the most noticeable results. I, for one, would love to banish those pigmentation on my cheeks forever.
What makes Skin Shaper Plus different?
It combines trademark registered FDA-approved LHE® technology (Light & Heat Energy) with their signature serum-infused facial massage to boost collagen renewal, rejuvenate skin and clear acne.
Designed by medical and dermal experts, LHE is a non-invasive and non abrasive gentle treatment with no downtime. It uses a lower energy fluency than laser and IPL, to give you result without burning your skin. In fact, I could go in and get the treatment done every 4 days if I want to.
How it works?

The procedure
After my face is thoroughly cleansed and exfoliated to remove impurities and dead skin cells, the LHE applicator is placed on my skin. Then I’d hear 2 beeps along with 2 pulses of light and heat on the skin. This is when the light and heat penetrate into the skin and does its magic.
Then, came my favourite part of the facial. The serum infused massage at Skin Shape Club is very gentle. I fall asleep almost every session.
As with every result-oriented treatment, photograph will be taken before and after each treatment.
It is hard to say goodbye to a weekly beautifying and pampering session. I’m so spoilt.
Club Lounge
Another reason I look forward to my weekly facial is the Club Lounge at Skin Shape Club. This member-exclusive lounge is for their members to drop by even when there is no appointment for a treatment to have a quick snack, some drinks or in my case, my own quiet space to blog (free WI-Fi included!).
How about non-members? Non-members can enjoy same benefits during their appointment day.

The complimentary treatment is slightly different from mine – it takes only 30 minutes and excludes Skin Shape Club’s signature serum massage but hey, it is free. Of course, if you like, you can always upgrade all 4 complimentary sessions to Skin Shaper Plus (50 minutes with serum massage – highly recommended!) at a flat fee of S$28.
