I went to my first event as a blogger last weekend. Singapore Blog Awards 2013 was held at Shanghai Dolly, Clarke Quay. These are the usual of questions people ask whenever I tell them about it.
Why? What is it (Singapore Blog Awards)?
It is my first time attending a blogger’s event and which event could be better than Singapore Blog Awards! It is the organised by omy.sg, Singapore Press Holdings’ leading bilingual news and entertainment portal to honour independent bloggers who devote their time and energy to create and maintain informative and innovative blogs. It is well into its 6 years and this year’s theme is 60s Fever.
What are the prizes?
The prizes include a specially designed trophy, cameras & home appliances, a trip to Northern Territory, Australia, web-hosting vouchers, fashion apparel, audio equipment, eyewear, online shopping credits. They are worth more than $35,000 in total. Pretty awesome if you are one of the winners.
Are you nominated?
Nope, yours truly is not nominated and has only been blogging for 3 months. Thanks very much for making me feel inadequate.
